Free - your own Web Evangelism resource
Would you like a resource section for Christians on your site to help them understand more about Web Evangelism? It's more than a link - you get some detailed and useful text directly incorporated into your own page! With a few lines of code pasted into just one of your own pages, you will have one comprehensive main page and about 30 side pages added to your site.
Advantages
- Free content: a syndicated page with a range of side-links, without writing it.
- Gives added value to your site and encourages visitors to bookmark the page and return, use the 'tell a friend' link to send emails to others, or link to your page themselves.
- Written by the author of the Web Evangelism section in the new Operation World book.
- A useful resource which encourages your site visitors to understand more about how they can be involved in online outreach.
- Updates and revisions will be added to the page automatically.
- Free downloadable poster and customized news release both carry your own site's URL and help to bring in new visitors. (These pages grabs the URL from your page: demo - see it display the URL of this particular page on the poster.)
It is endorsed by George Verwer (OM) and Patrick Johnstone (Operation World), as well as by Campus Crusade and Luis Palau Evangelistic Association.
- This resource section is suitable for a large ministry site, church pages, sites for women or teens, mission agencies or Bible College/Seminaries, Christian portals, or indeed any type of Christian site of any size. It advertises nothing, and has no agenda other than encouraging Christians to see the many options for online evangelism. It will blend seamlessly into your site.
- Who can use it - and why?
What does it look like?
Click here to see what the Web Evangelism material looks like when
added to your page. It is a single long reference page, with links to a number of short pages
which amplify particular sections, and external links to examples of evangelistic sites and
other resources. Links to other pages open in a new temporary browser window, so
visitors never leave your site.

Adding this resource to your site
It is easy: just paste a few lines of insert codes into a new page. This will insert the Guide
using Javascript - and for the few people who are unable to use Javascript, there is a fall-back
link for them to use.
- How to use the Javascript method
- Use of the Guide material is based on these conditions.
- Although the material is designed as a single unified block to incorporate into your site, it is also
possible to link directly to individual side pages.
The inbuilt 'back links' will return visitors to your site.
- If your server supports 'PHP' pages, you can use the alternative PHP insertion route if you wish.
- You can also syndicate directly into your own site the advice page for creating evangelistic church sites.
- If you don't wish to insert the material into your own site, you can link to the Guide
in the conventional way.
If you like this concept, please use this form to tell a friend, or use the news release in any Christian email or print publication.
