£4.99Laurence Singlehurst is Director of YWAM in UK. He is married, has three children, and is interested in history and collecting antiques.
This excellent book by the leader of an effective international mission shows how an understanding of the Engel Scale enables appropriate strategies to be chosen, especially in a local church situation. Singlehurst explains the difference between sowing and reaping strategies, and the importance of avoiding disappointment and damage by not mixing the two. The issue of getting people to 'pray the prayer' before they are ready is addressed. 'Keeping strategies' and the role of prayer are covered.
It's a simple and short book, yet it addresses core issues of effective evangelism in a totally practical way. While highly relevant to any church wishing to reach into its local community, many of the issues covered are equally valuable in developing appropriate strategies for web evangelism.
Unfortunately it's not apparently available in USA, (please advise us if you find it anywhere) but can be ordered online from UK online booksellers such as Amazon UK and www.bookshop.co.uk.
