Please always use make hyperlinks in this exact form, including ‘index.php’ as shown. However, when quoting the URL in print or verbally, please use the more memorable InternetEvangelismDay.com.

As a news item

An alternative to a plain or graphic hyperlink: a short ‘blog-style’ front-page news paragraph, which links to a longer page about IE Day on your site. A front-page news item could contain wording similar to this: You could use the calendar graphic below to accompany this, or any other link to IE Day.

Graphics to use

We offer a range of different size graphics. We particularly encourage the use of our diagonal banners (displayed also at the top left of this page) which can be placed in any corner of a web-page. View the banners and get the code here.

More graphics to use for linking are available below. Copy/paste the code to your own page and modify it for your own needs. We prefer that you link to the graphic file on our server, rather than you downloading it, because we will upgrade and rotate graphics, and before the annual dated IE Day, these will carry a date.

You can modify the color, width and style of border of any of these graphics using CSS. Variation of thickness, color, even dotted, can be specified according to your needs. CSS is better because the border is not default blue (unvisited) or purple (visited). A border is useful for pale-background graphics when your page background is also white or pale. To add a CSS border, remove the standard border="0" from the coding, and add variations of this code:

A border code is already included in the coding below for the banners which have a white background. If you wish these links to open in a new window, add 'target="_blank" after the URL, but before the closing angle bracket. (The Flash button already incorporates this property, and also needs no <a href= link.)
